Questions people ask
What if the site has the wrong details on it?
Tell Genni and she'll fix it while you're there. She will also never invent a phone number or an address to fill a gap — anything she isn't sure of is left for you to confirm before the site goes live. A site with a made-up number on it is worse than no site.
Can you just do it for me?
Yes. Leave your number and we'll call and go through it with you — your photos, your prices, your timings. We don't charge for that.
What does it really cost?
Building your first site is free, and so is looking at it. Publishing costs ₹500 a year for one page on a genweb.in address, or ₹3,000 a year for up to eight pages on your own domain — with the domain itself included. There's a monthly option at ₹300. Every plan comes with credits for changes; beyond those, an edit is ₹15 and a page is ₹40. it's all on one page.
Do I need to know anything technical?
No. If you can describe your business to a customer, you can describe it to Genni. There's nothing to install, no hosting to set up and no plugins to keep updated.
Can I use a domain I already own?
Yes — point it at us and we'll set up the certificate. Or buy one through us and we'll wire it up for you.
What happens if I stop paying?
The site stops being served and we tell you before that happens, not after. If you bought a domain through us it stays yours. See the refund policy for the details.
