How it works
There are four steps and you can stop after any of them. Nothing is charged until step four.
-
1
You describe the business
Genni asks on the front page — what it's called, what you do, where you are — one question at a time. Answer the way you'd say it to a customer standing in front of you: "home bakery in Chennai, birthday cakes and brownies, orders two days ahead" is plenty. She carries on asking inside, in English, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam or Hindi.

2
She builds it while you watch
Genni works out what a business like yours needs on a page, picks a look, writes the words and puts it together. The preview fills in beside the conversation as she goes, so you're not waiting at a spinner wondering what you'll get.
Where she doesn't know something — your phone number, your exact address, your opening hours — she leaves a gap and asks, rather than inventing something plausible. A website with a made-up number on it is worse than no website.

3
You change it by asking
"Make the header warmer." "Put the phone number at the top." "Add samosas at ₹15." You type it, she does it. There's no editor to learn, nothing to drag, and no waiting for someone to get back to you. Your plan includes credits for this — 500 a year, or 50 a month — and beyond those a change is ₹15.
If you'd rather not do this part yourself, ask us to call you and we'll go through it together. That's free.

4
You publish it
This is the first time money comes into it. ₹500 a year puts one page live on a genweb.in address; ₹3,000 a year puts up to eight pages on a domain of your own, and buys and renews that domain for you. Hosting, certificates and the enquiry inbox are part of both, not extras. There's a monthly option at ₹300 if you'd rather spread it.
After that, every enquiry someone sends through the site lands in one list and in your email. The full price list is here.
