1. Who we are

GenWeb is operated by Vector Web Technologies, 5/379, Old Street, Papakurichy, Kattur, Trichy 620019, Tamil Nadu, India. Questions about this policy go to hello@genweb.in.

2. What we collect before you have an account

The form on our home page asks what your business is called and what it does, and our support forms ask for a phone number and when to call you. We store those answers so that your work survives the sign-in step, and so that we can reply if you asked us to.

We also record how you reached us — the campaign parameters in the link you followed, and the site that linked to you — so we can tell which of our own pages are working.

We do not require an email address or a phone number to see a website we have built for you.

3. What we collect once you sign in

Your email address, your name if you give us one, and the details of the business you are building a site for. Payment card details are handled entirely by our payment processor and never reach our servers.

4. How we use it

To build and host your website, to reply to you, to take payment, and to send you service messages such as a renewal notice. We do not sell your information, and we do not send you marketing you did not ask for.

5. How long we keep it

Account and site data for as long as you have an account with us. Enquiries submitted before sign-up are kept for up to twelve months and then deleted, unless they became an account in the meantime.

6. Your choices

Ask us at hello@genweb.in and we will send you a copy of what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. If you asked for a call and changed your mind, tell us and we will remove the number.

7. Security

Traffic to and from our sites is encrypted. Sign-in is by a one-time code sent to your email; we never store a password because we never ask for one.
